1. Who We Are

My Ummah Hub SA (“we”, “our”, “the platform”) provides a digital business directory where users can browse, discover, and submit listings of Muslim-owned businesses in South Africa. This service includes both free and featured listing options.

2. User Accounts

To submit or manage listings, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for misuse or violation of these terms.

3. Listings and Submissions

  • Free Listings include basic information (e.g., business name, location, category).
  • Featured Listings (R149 monthly) include additional features like a clickable CTA, verified badge, custom background, and more.

All submissions must be truthful, relevant, and in line with our values. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our discretion.

4. Payments and Refunds

Payments for featured listings are processed via secure third-party payment gateways. Refunds are only granted if a listing is removed due to a platform error or technical fault.

5. Content and Conduct

By submitting content (e.g., text, images), you confirm that:

  • You own the content or have the right to use it
  • It does not infringe any rights, is not misleading, defamatory, or offensive
  • It does not violate South African laws or Islamic values

We reserve the right to moderate or remove any content that breaches these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All original platform content, including logos, branding, design, and text, is the property of My Ummah Hub SA. Listings submitted by users remain the property of their owners.

7. Third-Party Links

Our platform may contain links to external websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of those third-party sites.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the directory accessible and functional at all times. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. My Ummah Hub SA is not liable for downtime or data loss.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Ummah Hub SA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or profit arising from the use of our Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts or listings that violate these terms or harm the integrity of the platform.
