A: My Ummah Hub SA is a South African Muslim business directory created to list, uplift, and promote halaal and Muslim-owned businesses. Our mission is to make it easy for the community to find and support local Muslim brands, services, and professionals.

A: Any Muslim-owned business or service provider in South Africa, from food outlets to farms, from boutiques to plumbers, from medical professionals to Islamic services.

Submitting a Business

A: Visit the Submit a Business page, choose Free or Featured, and fill in the form. Once submitted, we review the information and publish it on the platform.

A:

  • Free Listing: Your business appears in the directory with essential details.
  • Featured Listing (R149/month): You get extra visibility and features including:
  • Clickable CTA buttons (WhatsApp, call, website, etc.)
  • Priority placement
  • Verified badge
  • Upload up to 5 images
  • Business Operating Hours
  • More views, reach, and leads

A: Yes. You can update your listing at any time. Simply log in to your account, open your User Dashboard, and select the listing you want to edit. From there, you can update your business information, images, contact details, or any other fields as needed. All changes will reflect immediately once saved.

Featured Listings & Payments

A: On the Submit a Business page, select the Featured option. Once your form is submitted, you will be redirected to PayFast to complete payment.

A: All online payments are securely processed through PayFast, which accepts:

  •  All major credit cards
  • Debit cards

No card information is stored by My Ummah Hub SA, everything is handled by PayFast’s
secure gateway.

A: Our Featured plan operates on a month-to-month subscription with automatic renewal. You may cancel at any time. If the subscription is not cancelled before the renewal date, the plan will continue automatically, and the monthly fee will be billed for the next period. Upon cancellation, your listing will revert to the Free plan at the end of your current paid month.

Using the Directory (for Visitors)

A: Use the search bar and category filters on the homepage to browse businesses by type or location.

A: Listings are user-submitted. We encourage you to always verify Halaal status and ownership independently. See our disclaimer for more details.

A: Yes! You can send the business owner the link, or email us their details and we will reach out to them.

Support & Issues

A: Approval time:

  • Free listings: 2–3 business days
  • Featured listings: Fast-tracked once payment is received

A: Updating your business information is quick and easy. Just log in to your account, go to your User Dashboard, and choose the listing you wish to update. You can edit all details, upload new content, or make adjustments whenever necessary. Once saved, your updates will automatically reflect on your live listing.
